据了解，这次于广州琶洲保利世贸展览馆举行的2011中国（广东）国际旅游产业博览会是中国最大规模的旅游产业博览会。此次博览会吸引了来自美国、德国、英国、法国、日本、韩国、加拿大等45个国家和我国港澳台地区的旅游局官员，驻华使馆旅游代表，旅游行业协会和企业将参加本届旅游产业博览会。此次旅博会，由国家旅游局、广东省人民政府主办，无论是展位面积，还是展位数量均是去年的3倍，吸引了超过1万名包括旅游全产业链上下游企业在内的境内外高端旅游专业参展商参加，创下广东旅游展览会的记录，更使得本届“旅博会”跃升成为“中国第一大旅游产业博览会”。
据悉，此次广东人最喜爱的酒店评鉴“最佳新开业酒店奖”是本年度中国国际旅游产业博览会的重要系列活动之一，由“中国城市主流媒体联盟(CMA)”发起，由社会各届力量以及此次奖项的评选委员会与广大媒体投票综合评价产生。此次酒店评选共分最佳商务、最奢华、最佳新开业等十几个类别的奖项，吸引了包括来自港澳、马来西亚、新加坡以及国内上百家星级酒店的参与。

In the 2011 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Expo, Kempinski Hotel Huizhou with its quality service, extensive marketing promotion and outstanding reputation, has been awarded the “Best New Opening Hotel” during the evaluation of Cantonese favorite hotels.
“Best New Opening Hotel”—The evaluation of Cantonese favorite hotels is one of the most important activities in this year's China International Tourism Expo. China City Mainstream Media Alliance (CMA) produced a comprehensive evaluation based on the power of the community sessions and voted on by the public media.The evaluation consists of ten awards, which includes the Best Business Hotel, the Most Luxurious and the Best Opening Hotel. It has attracted hundreds of Stared Hotels from Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.
It is reported that the 2011 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Expo, which was held on Sep 2nd, 2011 at Guangzhou Pazhou Poly World Trade Center, is China's largest tourism industry fair. The fair attracted tourism bureau officials, embassy representatives, tourism industry associations and companies from 45 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, Great Britain, France, Japan, Korea, Canada, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, etc. The Travel Expo was hosted by the National Tourism Bureau and Guangdong Provincial People's Government. Both the number of booths and people were 3 times the amount from 2010, which attracted more than 10,000 high-end tourism professional exhibitors from home and abroad. Not only did the Guangdong Tourism Fair go above the record in terms of attendees, but also achieved the current status of "China's largest tourism industry fair".
